IT was a day to remember at Parklands Leisure Centre in Okehampton last Saturday when famous fitness innovator and instructor Kardy Laguda led a workout.

Kardy, who works with Rosemary Conley and choreographs routines for Kardy-O-Fun classes which are run only by Rosemary Conley franchisees, made the workout a fun and motivating experience.

With more than 200 people taking part and other franchisees warming up the participants before Kardy came on stage, the event raised £1,653 for Devon Air Ambulance.

Rachel Baker, the Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Clubs franchisee in West Devon/ North Cornwall, said: 'It was a fantastic day, we didn't realise how many people would actually come.

'Everybody had such a good time and really enjoyed the whole day! People are already asking when the next one will be.'

Rachel, Wendy Cox, Karen Threadgold, Wendy Anthony and Fiona Rojahn would like to thank everyone who helped, Parklands Leisure Centre, OCRA and Okehampton Courtenay Players, who lent the stage.
