THE garden at Andrew's Corner, Skaigh Lane, Belstone, will be opening for an extra session this month in aid of Devon Air Ambulance.

The garden, set above the Taw Valley, facing Cosdon Beacon boasts magnolias, camellias and early rhododendrons, under planted with erythroniums, primroses, hellebores and daffodils.

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a cream tea, wander around the tranquil setting and help to contribute to a worthwhile charity.

The scheme has been running for many years and in 2008, raised in excess of £9,200.

The open garden will be on Sunday April 19 from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. Admission is £2.50 for adults and free for children.
