YOUNG mathematicians at Shebbear College are the best in the county — official.

With the county champions title in the Team Maths Challenge (Intermediate) already under their belt, they are now champions of the Senior Team Maths Challenge as well.

The winning team, comprising Matthew Dymond, Sam Cappleman Lynes, Clara Nielson and William Collins, have been invited to attend the national final in London in February.

Special congratulations go to Will, who at 14 was the youngest competitor in the competition — he is taking his AS-level in maths this year.
