New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Torridge’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

The Bell Inn, a pub, bar or nightclub at Bell Inn, Monkleigh, Bideford, Devon was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 15.

And Number Eight, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 49 Torrington Street, Bideford, Devon was also given a score of five on December 20.
