PLAYING up the slope in the first half the Okes conceded 18 points to leave themselves a lot to do in the second half.
The visitors started the next half well and from a 30 yard driving maul, Buzz outstanding again, Brimacombe scored a try which he also converted.
Okehampton now looking a different side, were playing with real heart and tries continued. Next was Simon Griffiths, who was to the fore all day as usual, and Buzz duly converted.
Okes' Steve Alford then drove over for an unconverted try before James Bird took the ball on the half way line and showed real pace to fly down the wing and score an excellent try.
The visitors were now one point behind after Ivybridge had scored a converted try. However , yet again, Simon Griffiths popped up to score the winning try for the Okes. Special mention needs to go to Barry Down, who in his first game back after two years out through injury, showed he hasn't lost it!
Also to Richard Mortimore, who played his first game to the seconds and showed he's one to watch.
The seconds played with a lot of skill and passion and hopefully can carry it on till next week, when they entertain Barnstaple seconds.
