PLANS to modernise Sampford Courtenay Village Hall's kitchen went on display to residents recently. Ann Palmer, a member of the village hall committee, said: 'We've worked hard over the years to raise £25,000 towards building a brand new kitchen, a committee room, disabled toilet, and better parking facilities. 'We're very grateful to West Devon Borough Council and the Community Council of Devon for their promise of financial assistance and are now on our final leg of fundraising.'
