Okehampton U3A celebrated its tenth anniversary on Thursday March 29.
Almost half the branch's 140 members attended the celebration event in the Ockment Centre, where the U3A was founded.
Members were entertained by the newly formed singing group, followed by singer Brian Higbee. They finished off with a cream tea, followed by champagne and birthday cake.
The U3A paid tribute to the staff at the Ockment Centre, in particular Lindsey Svensson, Mandy Kenyon and Monty Lerer, who were instrumental in the branch's foundation.
The U3A expressed thanks to all their staff for their friendly and willing support throughout their first ten years.
