AS a local Marie Curie Nurse I would like to invite everyone in Devon to hold a Blooming Great Tea Party for Marie Curie Cancer Care in June. Whether it's with friends, family, neighbours or workmates, it's always great to share a cuppa, afternoon tea or even a summer garden party. Holding a Blooming Great Tea Party is the perfect way to do just that, as well as raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The money raised at Blooming Great Tea Parties will allow Marie Curie Nurses, like me, to continue to provide more free care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes. It is so important for people to be able to spend their final days in their place of choice, and for most people this means at home surrounded by the people and things they care about most.
