A NEW counselling service to help people with relationship problems has started in Okehampton.

Exeter and District Relate have installed the service at the Ockment Centre on Tuesdays and the counsellor will be providing family as well as individual and couple counselling for those who need help with relationship issues.

Relate is offering couples a £5 discount for a relationship MOT.

Exeter and District Manager Rebecca Wellaway said: 'So often couples come to Relate because of a crisis in their relationships. We are hoping to encourage couples to come and see us before they reach breaking point.'

Relate also provides a telephone counselling service for individuals who find coming to the centres difficult.
