RESIDENTS from the Spreyton area are being invited to a special event on Saturday December 4, which is aimed at raising awareness of properties for local people and getting all-important housing information to those who need it.

The event will take place in Spreyton Village Hall between 10am and noon, alongside the regular farmers' market.

Housing advisors will be on hand to discuss the new development at Meadow Rise, Spreyton, which is being built for Hastoe Housing Association in partnership with West Devon Borough Council.

The development, which is due for completion in February next year, is made up of nine properties for rent.

Residents can also get information on general housing matters while doing their shopping at the market.
