THERE is no more beautiful sight than a full moon over Dartmoor and I was horrified to see on the local TV news and reading in your newspaper about the ritualistic killing and mutilation of a foal.

I am tortured by the thought that this evil took place and the horrific suffering that this innocent animal endured while his mother stood by.

What makes people go to a beautiful place on a beautiful night with knives, paint and candles to do such an awful thing?

I despair at the terrible things human beings do to animals and children for pleasure and satanic gratification. It is sick!
