A THEATRE show designed to include everyone watching comes to Winkleigh Community Centre on Wednesday, October 24.

The theatre company Compagnie Animotion will bring their show Portmanteau to the village, a show told entirely through an innovative mix of mime, movement and sign language. The non-verbal show celebrates classic cinematic traditions and mixed original film with the unique experience of live theatre.

Compagnie Animotion was set up in 2004 with the aim of providing the same opportunities for the deaf community that the hearing community has in terms of access to the arts and arts training. Its theatre is a mix of physical, visual and sensory work accessible to all audiences.

The show is suitable for everyone aged five upwards.
