THERE were quite a few running Father Christmases in Simmons Park in Okehampton on Sunday when OCRA staged its Santa run, in conjunction with Okehampton Running Club and Fusion, which runs Parklands Leisure Centre.

Big beards and bright red santa suits might make running a bit slower but they certainly added to the festive atmosphere. Children and adults joined in the run or walk around the park, which started at the Pavilion in the Park bright and early.
