JUST in case the wet weather turns into snow over February, Chagford Parish Council snow wardens are seeking volunteers to help keep the roads open.

Volunteers need to be fit and healthy, have the time to assist during a snowy period, and be prepared to complete a short training course to comply with Devon County Council insurance regulations.

The snow wardens are also on the lookout for anyone with useful machinery that could help clear snow. For more information call the council clerk on 01647 432999.
