ON behalf of the Kure City Council History Library, Japan, I am anxious to make contact with anybody who served in the Kure area from late 1945 to 1956 as a member of the British army, navy or air force.
Memories, and the loan of old photographs of Japan, are needed for copying in to the Kure City Council History Library (originals will be returned). To date, 752 ex-servicemen have loaned their memorabilia.
