AN Okehampton town councillor is appealing for people to let him know of any problems they may have with buses running from the town.
It follows comments at the recent annual town council meeting about the lack of late night services.
Cllr Hyder Pirwany spoke in support of those experiencing problems with the service.
He said: 'I want people to let me know any difficulties they have with the bus services, in particular the lack of late buses running through the town.
'People want to be able to get in and out of the town and I will be able to help in two ways.
'I will transfer any complaint directly to the bus company concerned and I will forward the same complaint to Devon County Council transport department.'
Cllr Pirwany stressed he would do all he could to help those looking for an improvement.
'It is frustrating for those people who want to go elsewhere.
'My message to the Okehampton and surrounding residents is to let me know so I can try and help you.'
