I WOULD just like to let people know, in case they missed the news, that I will staying at my job of Lollypop man in Whitchurch Rd, Tavistock for the foreseeable future. So, could I just remind people that the speed LIMIT is 30mph, that is the upper limit, not the lower as people seem to interpret it.

Also, when the yellow lights are flashing on the big square sign, they are asking you to slow down to 20mph, not carry on as if they aren’t there.

Please, for the sake of the lives of the parents and children who park in order to drop off for the school. For some reason large van drivers and scaffolders think it is clever or funny to ignore the lights and speed through— they probably aren’t reading this though. Please be aware of the road signs on small roads, thank you.
