IF the London 2012 Games have inspired you to take up more exercise, Okehampton Library is the place to be on October 10 with its 'Wellbeing Wednesday' morning.

Between 10am and noon, the library will be providing information on different forms of exercise, ways to relax and keep fit and healthy.

Okehampton Lions will be providing a general health check service with Okehampton Medical Centre, including a blood pressure and diabetes check.

Dr Tarja Moles will be promoting her book, 'No Naughties — Sweet treats without sugar, wheat, gluten and yeast', which contains more than 50 recipes which are suitable for people who need to avoid sugar, wheat, gluten, yeast, soya and peanuts.

The event also includes a Chi Kung session by Devon Adult and Community Learning. There will also be the opportunity  to get some nutritional advice as well as information on healthy living. Free refreshments will also be provided by the Friends of Okehampton Library.
