EXTERIOR lights were donated to Milton Combe Village Hall from Shields of Vigo Bridge before Christmas for which the hall committee was very grateful.

A spokesperson for the hall said: ‘These were much needed as the old ones were slowly failing to work.  The village looked so pretty with most householders putting up exterior lights, the only thing letting down the spectacle was the village hall. But Shields saved the day and the village hall was able to shine once again.  We are incredibly grateful for the firm’s hospitality.’
