THE EU is at it again! They now are recommending that the, so called, 'megga-trucks' get the green light.
The EU is proposing to increase the maximum weight of lorries from 44 tonnes to 60 tonnes and they will be winding their way around our little villages with their satellite navigation systems, causing great damage to our roads and the rail bridges and so on and so on.
We need to use our railway systems to their full advantage and carry heavy haulage on the tracks and not on our roads. Unfortunately, with Labour on 'meltdown' and no mandate to stop these ridiculous laws, we will very soon be looking down the mouth of these 60 tonne monsters.
