TREETOPS Pre-School is top of the pops after an auction raised £1,200 for the pre-school.

The Holly Auction on December 1 at the Fox and Hounds pub was held to support the pre-school and out of school clubs in Bridestowe.

More than 30 local businesses in Okehampton, Tavistock and surrounding areas generously donated goods and services. Staff and parents then arranged donations into hampers full of goodies.

Parents and committee member Dominique Sequoia said: 'When I first moved to the area I was made to feel so welcome at Treetops, and my two children love it there.

'The parents committee works hard to ensure enough funds are raised to support such a great provision for children.'
