A PAINTING of the Mad Hatter, signed by several stars of Chagstock 2010, has been auctioned off in aid of the Devon Air Ambulance and WaterAid.

The painting by artist Anne-Louise Boyd was part of the 'green room' decoration enjoyed by artists backstage at last year's music festival.

Several of the artists who loved the painting, including Seth Lakeman, Oysterband and The Hoosiers, have signed the work, which was bought by keen Chagstock-goer Adam Windrum.

Adam, a teacher from Saltash, said he is not sure what he will do with the massive 8 x 4 ft painting, but hopes to show it in the school where he teaches so the children can enjoy it.
