TICKETS are now on sale for the South Zeal Summer Ball, now in its eighth year. The masquerade ball will take place on Friday, July 4. Held in the surroundings of the village recreation ground in a large marquee, there will be a waiter served three course meal and dancing to midnight to live five-piece band D Funk. Tickets are £30 per person, available as individual tickets, couples or as tables of ten. Following the summer ball the marquee will host the South Zeal Beer Festival on Saturday July 5 and Sunday July 6. This popular event will have entertainment for the whole family including Zale Fayre on Saturday afternoon, a family disco on Saturday evening, an interdenominational tent service on Sunday morning and live music on Sunday afternoon. The event raises much needed funds for the Recreation Ground.
