WELL done, Royal?Mail — I posted a letter at Moorshop to my grand-daughter Anna in Germany, enclosing ten euros.
The Royal?Mail rang to say that snails had eaten most of it and the letter was not fit to go on to Germany. After looking at my very brief address they traced me and returned what was left in a registered envelope.
The snails hadn't touched the euros — maybe they didn't like the flavour!
What a service!
