Lew Trenchard Primary School hosted a cross country event for a number of West Devon schools at Alder Lake at the end of term. Schools from Lew Trenchard, Boasley Cross, Bridestowe, Hatherleigh and Exbourne took part and there were four terrific races on an arduous, muddy course. There were a number of terrific individual performances and the overall winning school was Bridestowe.
