THERE was drama, humour, dancing and a singalong of wartime favourites when a Murder Mystery came to Okehampton.

The work was set in wartime Britain in 1942 and performed by The Foul Players who write and produce their own murder mysteries to suit all occasions.

The cast interacted with the audience who were encouraged to work out who committed the murder and why.

The performance was enjoyed by 80 people, including prospective parliamentary Conservative candidate for Central Devon, Mel Stride.

Mr Stride complimented The Foul Players and organisers on a successful evening, before joining chairman of the Okehampton branch of the Central Devon Conservative Association, Mary Vick, in a prize draw.

The evening took place on Friday, February 5 at Okehampton Conservative Club.
