ANIMAL lovers are now able to vote for their favourite pet among the winners of the 2008 Okeford Braveheart Award.
The nominees will be displayed on the wall of the reception area at the Okeford Veterinary Centre, where members of the public can vote for the animal who has won their heart through ongoing bravery.
The owner with the most votes will be awarded the Katie Bater memorial cup and a framed picture of their pet.
Nominees range from Ki-va, the Irish Wolfhound who ate a set of screwdrivers at 12 months old and had to have them surgically removed, to Buddy Wiggins, a Cocker Spaniel who had to have an operation after swallowing a sock.
Voting closes on Thursday January 29 and the winner will be announced by the veterinary practice the following week.
