SIX teams took part in a pancake tossing race at the Tom Cobley Tavern in Spreyton last Thursday to mark World Kidney Day.
The night, organised by Lucy Cudlip, was enjoyed by all who attended. Six teams of four took part in the pancake tossing itself, racing between the Tom Cobley and the church.
The total raised was £105, which was donated to the Exeter Kidney Unit and the Exeter Kidney Transplant Games Team, as Spreyton resident Wendy Sincock has been selected to represent Great Britain at the World Transport Games in Sweden in June.
The games take place each year to demonstrate the physical success of transplant surgery and raise awareness of the need to increase organ donation.
The organisers expressed thanks to all those who took part in the evening.
