A FREE prize draw with an array of prizes including a tour of the Meeth Quarry, a trip to Lundy Island and a North Devon Theatres family ticket has been organised in celebration of the tenth anniversary of the North Devon Biosphere Reserve.
The B10 anniversary has seen individuals, organisations and businesses from across northern Devon contribute to an exciting programme of events that continues until the autumn.
Biosphere businesses and supporters have donated the prizes, which also include a wildlife cruise on the Ilfracombe Princess, coasteering with the Ultimate Adventure Centre, family tickets to a Beaford Arts event and an outdoor drawing class with Quay Drawing.
Biosphere Reserves are places with world-class environments designated by the United Nations to promote and demonstrate a balanced relationship between people and nature.
The reserve promotes both conservation and sustainable development.
The North Devon Biosphere catchment area follows the water from the source of the Taw and Torridge rivers, and smaller rivers running into the sea along the coast from Lynton to Hartland, down through the villages and towns of north Devon out to sea, to Lundy and beyond.
Winkleigh and Hatherleigh are among the communities that fall within the biosphere.
There are a number of ways to enter.
You can visit http://www.northdevonb10.org.uk">www.northdevonb10.org.uk or complete a form at one of the B10 events, details of which are available on the website.
