A?WOMAN has died from her injuries after a collision in West Devon last Friday.
Twenty-four-year-old Beaworthy woman Charlotte Simpson died on Monday afternoon.
Emergency vehicles were called to the A3079 near Halwill, Beaworthy, at around 4.30pm on Friday, June 12, following a collision between a Volkswagen Golf and a Lexus.
The male driver of the Lexus, from Bournemouth, suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to North Devon District Hospital.
Officers from Bodmin Serious Collisions Investigation Unit attended and the road was closed for eight hours for a forensic examination of the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision and in particular to anyone who may have seen either vehicle being driven on the A3079 beforehand.
