MORE than 50 people enjoyed a Christmas quiz night, which included warm mince-pies and mulled wine, at the Winsford Centre, Halwill Junction.

The result was neck and neck until the final round, when the Winsford Lane Potholers claimed victory over the Parson's Knows team.

The draw for the luxury Christmas hamper, for which tickets had been on sale for the previous two weeks, was won by Peter Hadden, of Foxhole.

The trustees and staff of the Winsford Trust expressed thanks to everyone attending events during the year for their support.
