LONDON Calling consists of four guys from Bristol who put on a performance with energy and enthusiasm recreating the sound and intensity of The Clash.
All the guys genuinely love the band and put their all into each show.
Over ten years London Calling gigged all across the UK, Europe and the USA before a hiatus.
Since reforming in 2014 they have performed shows across the UK and South America.
They first played The Wharf in Tavistock along with the Sex Pistols Experience in 2007 and again last year with Plymouth punk covers band The Cleaners.
Tomorrow’s gig (Friday) will be the punk band’s third visit to the venue.
The Cleaners are the perfect warm up band for this excellent Clash tribute — they’ve more than earned their stripes with a series of local gigs smashing through eclectic fiery sets paying homage to a whole range of punk offerings from The Sex Pistols to The Damned and everything that falls in between, including The Clash!
This promises to be a punk-tastic night by anyone’s standards, a gig not to be missed!
