VOLUNTEERS and presenters are still being sought for a community radio station for Okehampton.

A radio producer, with a background in television filming and directing, Dan Rose has quietly created the community radio station Moor FM for Okehampton and the wider area in a bid to get the 'community spirit back into Okehampton'.

After being involved with the town's Battle of the Bands competition, Dan decided he wanted to do something for the community and one night dreamt up the idea of the station.

Having previously worked for Sky radio, Heart, BBC and other well-known broadcasters, Dan had all the necessary knowledge and experience to undertake such a project.

The station is broadcasting online at http://www.moorfm.co.uk">www.moorfm.co.uk but the team are looking for more people to help out, be it in a presenting role or behind the scenes.
