OKEHAMPTON Scout Group has received a cheque from Okehampton Rotary Club towards one of three new patrol tents to replace its existing lightweight tents, which have come to the end of their useful life.

The cheque for £500 will fund the new tents, which are a sturdy old fashioned canvas design — well known to the middle-aged and older among the Okehampton community.
