THE final cheque presentation to give away the proceeds of the 2011 Ruby Run was made recently, when a cheque for £5,000 was presented to Help for Heroes.

Carol Barkwell from the event's main sponsor Made Well, and one of the race organisers John Allen, presented the cheque to Clare Hutton from the charity, along with Andy Vallance from Okehampton Running Club and Arthur Stewart.
