THE sound of skittles crashing down will be loud in Meeth this weekend, as the annual skittles evening takes place.

The village hall will host the event on Saturday, August 18 from 7pm.

Tickets cost £1.50 per person in teams of six and everyone is welcome.

If you are unable to get a team of six together, organisers will try to get you a game on the night.

To keep bowlers energised there will be a barbecue, and tea and coffees available.
