People looking for something different to do with the children this Hallowe'en should take a visit to the Forestry Commission's Cookworthy Forest.
There are still places left for a Hallowe'en storytelling event, which will take place in the Celtic roundhouse at Cookworthy tomorrow (Friday).
Local 'Storyfella', Clive Pigg, will be entertaining families with some strange and spooky stories for Hallowe'en.
There are places left on an hour-long session for children aged between four and eight years old, which starts at 5pm.
People are being encouraged to enter into the Hallowe'en spirit and dress up and should bring a torch and blanket or cushion for comfort. The cost is £4 per person and includes a mug of hot chocolate.
Booking is essential– call 01392 834233.
