A GROUP of 25 pupils and five staff from Shebbear College spent 12 days enjoying the delights of the islands of Saint Lucia and Barbados in the West Indies during a sports tour.

The youngsters played netball, cricket and football against school and club sides on the islands.

Tour leader Andy Bryan said: 'The pupils were a credit to Shebbear College, both on and off the field and I'm sure they will remember their wonderful experiences for a very long time.'

Playing against some strong teams, they won half of the ten matches played, and visited many attractions on the two islands.
