THE Okehampton branch of St John Ambulance is offering meeting rooms for individuals, voluntary groups and businesses.

The charity has two new large meeting rooms available for hire at reasonable rates in Hameldown Business Park.

Dot Kaines, local organiser for St John Ambulance said: 'Renting out our rooms when we don't need them will help us cut costs and increase the resources we invest in promoting awareness of lifesaving first aid techniques.

'These versatile rooms are great for children's parties, charitable meetings and businesses that want a strategic location, and St John Ambulance will always be happy to offer a good price.'

The rooms are available throughout the week, except for Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

There is plenty of car parking space, full disabled access, kitchen facilities and a capacity of more than 50 people for the larger of the two rooms.
