ENJOY a walk among the stars while raising money for charity with the Starlight Moor Walk on October 8.

Okehampton's first Starlight Sponsored Moor walk will take participants on a night-time walk to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Walkers are encouraged to take part in the six-mile trek from Okehampton Rugby Club to Rough Tor and back, wearing fancy dress or bright colours.

As well as enjoying a starlit walk, the rugby club will be hosting multi-sports activities for children from 6.30pm onwards and there will be live music and refreshments — the bar will be open for the evening.

Registration is £10 per adult and children under 12 can accompany their parents free of charge.
