HAVING moved to Tavistock almost a year ago I would like to say what a great place it is.

The Wharf entertainment centre offers live music and films, plus a swimming pool for the more energetic among us.

Tavistock Carnival, Goose Fair and the Dickensian evening all add to the magic and create a great community atmosphere. There is a good collection of shops, a riverbank where one can sit and watch the world go by, a park and an overall character unlike anywhere else. All of these plus much much more go towards making Tavistock fantastic!
