I WOULD like to say thank you to every person who gave their help and assistance when an elderly gentleman was taken ill in Morrisons on Friday, January 15.

First of all to the two kind ladies sitting at the next table who showed their concern and called for Morrisons’ first aider.  Next to Tracy, (the first aider) who was wonderful giving support and calling for the paramedics, staying with him until they arrived.

Then to the two paramedics who, after reassuring and checking him thoroughly, took us to Derriford.

He was detained there overnight for observation but was allowed to come home the next day and, I am pleased to say, is now fully recovered.

People are so kind and did not hesitate to help. Thank you all.
