A MAN whose life was saved thanks to the Devon Air Ambulance is doing his part to raise money for the charity.
Rob and Eileen Davey have organised a coffee morning to be held in the Church Hall on Market Street on Saturday July 21. All proceeds will go to the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
Rob said: 'We are all keen to raise money for such a remarkable and important service. The Devon Air Ambulance Trust saved my life when I had a heart attack earlier this year, and this is just a small way of saying thank you. Everyone is welcome to come along to support the event.'
For an entry fee of 50p there will be coffee and biscuits, a raffle, cake stall, tombola, bric-a-brac and books for sale. The hall will be open from 9.30am to noon.
If you have any books, bric-a-brac or items for the tombola, call Rob Davey on 07563 339458.
