PLAYWRIGHT and actor Murray Lachlan Young will bring his new show The Alien Balladeer to Hatherleigh tomorrow (Friday). The shows takes its inspiration from Murray's Radio 4 series, as an exploration of the roads less travelled in our country's cultural life. The radio series featured interviews and reporting on a peculiar subject, about each of which Murray wrote and performed a contemporary folk song. The show takes place in Hatherleigh Community Centre, doors open from 7pm. There is a licensed bar and the event is raising money for the community centre.
