WHILST on holiday in Devon last week we picked up a copy of your paper and I was amazed to read the letter from Len and Anita Shipton complaining about your car parking.

Where else can you park so close to a town centre for only £2 for a whole day — we were amazed and delighted.  Here in Canterbury that wouldn’t even get you two hours’ parking.  

Tavistock was probably the nicest town we visited, friendly, and it had an independent bookshop, (my wife will go anywhere for an independent bookshop); nice to read in your pages of it getting a grant!  We will be back to take advantage again of your cut price parking and welcoming town.
