THE spirit of the Irish will be alive and well in Chagford on St Patrick's Day, as Endecott House hosts a special charity event.

From 7pm to 11pm guests can enjoy Irish music and a three-course supper with tea or coffee. As you may expect on an Irish holiday, the supper will contain potatoes in some shape or form.

Tickets cost £15 each and are available from Sally's Newsagents. All proceeds raised from the evening will go toward the Chagford Combined Charity, which looks after Endecott House for the community and offers grants to young people and those in severe need.

All are welcome to enjoy a fun and friendly evening, and all partygoers are asked to wear something green.
