TO ease the traffic on the main Exeter Road/East Street I suggest that the restriction presently at the junction of North Street/Northfield Road be removed along with the island on the south side.  Traffic can then use the Link Road with the proviso that traffic at the North Street/Fore Street junction must turn left.  Traffic then going to Market Street can use Mill Road.  This may mean changes to road signs etc with minimal expensive work.
