A MAN is being treated for spinal injuries after falling through the roof of a building in Northlew.

A fire crew from Hatherleigh was mobilised to Crowden Road where a man had fallen through the roof of an ‘old tin building’ after an ambulance was called at around 8.45pm last Friday.

On arrival the crew removed roofing and debris using small tools and manpower to gain access to the casualty who was trapped under galvanised roofing.

He was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
