On Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club a large field contested a competition with a 'twist'.

The front nine consisted of a better ball Stableford and the back nine a greensome Stableford.

The winners of division one were the pair of Jonny Rattenbury and Will Searle with 41 points; second were Barry Coaker and Arnie Searle with 40 and third John Leonard and Jim Butcher with 39 on the back nine from Martin Aggett and Rob Simpson who came fourth.

Division two was won by Alan And Lewis Parry with 44 points; second were Ted Boswell and Richard Goodger with 42 and third were Steve Browne and Denis Jenkins with 41.
