OKEHAMPTON Medical Centre has announced an additional date for patients to get their flu vaccinations.

Patients over the age of 65 are eligible for free vaccinations, and all patients under 65 with a chronic illness such as heart failure, diabetes or respiratory problems, those who have a carer, and those who are immuno-suppressed are also recommended to have a vaccination.

Following the first round of vaccinations which finished on October 15, the new date is Saturday November 5 between 8.30am and noon. Appointments are not necessary.
